Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage) used on babbagedigital.com and the admin panel ("the Platform"). For who we are and how we process personal data generally, see our Privacy Notice.
1. What Is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a website. "Local storage" serves a similar purpose but typically persists longer and can only be read by the site that set it. On our Platform, both are used strictly for the necessary purposes listed below.
2. Cookies and Local Storage We Use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
connect.sid | Strictly necessary cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) | Authenticates your session and grants access to the panel | 7 days, or until you log out |
site:lang | Local storage | Remembers your language choice (TR/EN) on the website | Until you or your browser clears it |
panel:lang | Local storage | Remembers your language choice in the admin panel | Until you or your browser clears it |
panel:theme | Local storage | Remembers your panel display theme | Until you or your browser clears it |
panel:selectedClientSlug | Local storage | (Agency users) remembers the last store you had selected | Until you or your browser clears it |
All of the above fall under the "strictly necessary" category required for the service to function, so under applicable e-commerce and electronic communications rules they do not require a separate consent banner. We list them here for transparency.
3. Third-Party Connections
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com); this may expose your browser's IP address to Google's servers. This is not a tracking cookie and is not used by Google for advertising — it's technically required to deliver the font file.
At checkout, PayTR's secure payment frame may set its own cookies, governed by PayTR's own privacy/cookie policy, which we do not control.
4. Managing Cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Blocking connect.sid will prevent you from logging into the panel; clearing preference items (language/theme) will simply reset those preferences without affecting anything else.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we ever add a new technical or optional cookie, we will update this policy and request your consent first, where required.
